Thrilhou's 1997 XJ600 Maintenance/Repair Log

I thought it would be a nice idea to document any significant maintenance/repair in a project thread. If anything comes up I need assistance with or is otherwise note worthy, I can put it all here.
The motorbike is a '97 Seca II in blue/green. Over all, it's in very good condition:
-6500 miles
-Body work and paint is in fair-good condition. Some hair-line cracking in the side panels and belly fairing at the mounting holes, but nothing flopping around. Paint pretty good, some light scratching. No chipping.
-No corrosion. All the bolts and components look shinny and new.
-All parts are there, no modifications except for a Corbin seat.
-New Metzeler Lasertec tires.
-It runs and runs pretty well at that. Needs some fine tuning (idles about 100~150 rpm high when hot). But otherwise starts instantly with the choke when dead cold.
Overall, it looks like it was kept inside its entire life and wasn't abused.
