Newbie with 1989 xj600 pre diversion

Hello everybody, I’m a 52 yo electrician from Manchester in the UK. I picked up my bike in February from Sheffield. It’s got 11 thou on the clocks but it’s not been looked after very well. I am looking to take on a refurbishment and make a few modifications.
