My 92 Seca II's restoration

My interest in the Seca II started when a free '92 Seca II was offered to us. I thought this would be a great project for my son & I to do together. Shortly after we picked up the black 92 Seca II, I saw an ad in the local craigslist for a red 92 Seca II. I thought this would be a great donor bike for the black Seca project.
The red Seca was in MUCH better shape than the black one, and the seller accepted an offer of $200. This provided a perfect solution for my son and I to resolve our "artistic" differences, and that's how we ended up with TWO 92 Seca IIs in the garage
The black Seca is now my son's Cafe Racer project (in need of a new or rebuilt motor sadly), and the red Seca is my resoration project, the subject of this thread.
First time I saw the Seca

On the way home

And it's current state
