Hesitation at WOT

So I apologize in advance if this topic has been covered, I don't have alot of time today to search this...
This morning I brought the bike out for the first time in a few months. Seemed to be running fine, but when I got on the highway, it started hesitating pretty bad at about 3/4 to WOT, to the point that I got off the highway and took the back roads into work. It also seemed to only do it in 6th gear. I don't notice any issue outside of 6th and high throttle. It started hesitating like I was running out of gas, but I had just filled it. Anyone got any ideas? I thought it could be rotten gas since it has sat for a while, it only had a little bit in the tank for that period of time. I thought chunky gas might have clogged the main jets a bit, so I stopped off and got some seafoam and put it in the tank. It was pretty high winds today, but I don't think that could screw up the intake pressure enough to affect the engine
I have to ride the 40 miles back home tonight, and I'd like to have an idea what I'm dealing with before heading back out onto the highway. Thanks in advance.
