30k miles where should I start?

I recently got my 92 secaII running that my step-father gave me. The bike has 30k miles on it. I plan on splitting the case to change idler gear 1 and 2 after my car is running. What else would everyone suggest I do since the bike is as old as it is with what I've heard is high milleage?
