Carb boot clamps (alternative replacement)

I somehow managed to loose my ziplock bag with my carb boots and all of the band clamps with it. Now I have to replace the parts I've lost... 
so I found the carb boots on eBay but the clamps are outrageously priced. Anyone run normal band clamps from auto parts store ???
