Hi
Been reading Slimtech's excellent write up on the Rotor Oil Seal, I want to remove the Rotor shaft..or is it called the drive shaft....but...I'm stuck..with the Oil Seal Housing
I've tried the pliers method,,,,......but the little bugger won't move...I wondered if...as it's a push fit, and only thing holding it is an O ring...whether I can try and rotate it...to get some movement, then try again with the pliers
I read the advice about not using a screwdriver and prying it....
I assume the whole shaft can be wacked with a rubber mallet from the other side to remove it, once the Oil Seal Housing and the Oil Seal itself is removed...
Could someone give me any suggestions...??
Thanks
roy
