Hey, what's up?
Just wanted to say hi, and thank you for the treasure trove of information that is this forum.
It's been a while since I was riding now. Started with a Honda VTR 1000F, but the CCT gave up on me and caused some engine havoc. Found an XJ 600 51J -85 at a friends place for about $100. Bought it unseen.
"You just need to put some air in to the tires and it's good to go"..
Well, if you don't mind a swing arm with worn out bushings, leaking tires, leaking valve cover, cracked camshaft bearings, missing speedometer, worn out brake pads, leaking exhaust, 30 year old suspension and every now and then opening the gas cap to release vacuum.
To give the machine credit though, it did actually run. Although it felt like riding a snake, breathing smoke and vomiting oil, that the orcs conjured up from Mordor.
The season is coming to an end i Sweden, so I might not get it on the road this summer (Legally and comfortably). But thanks to xjrider I'm getting there.
