Running on 3 cylinders

So yesterday day I was riding to work and when I took off from a stop sign I felt a power loss in the top of first. I sifted to second and it sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders. I limped to work and went to pull the spark plugs and found the insulation on the #2 spark plug was cracked. So I figured that was the problem and went to leave after work and I had no power at all. It would run but if I got it going it would slow down till the engine died. I trucked it home and changed the plugs but it still runs the same. I cleaned the carbs and still #2 won't fire. So I pulled the valve cover and the timing chain looked a bit loose, I put a wrench on the tensioner and it was tight. So I pulled the tensioner assembly off and I knowtest the shaft was fully extended. My question is is that a sign the timing chain is streched beyond its limits? Could the chain hop a tooth and cause only one cylinder to stop working? Wouldn't all the cylinders be affected equally. And why would I have enough power to get on the interstate on the way to work with 3 cylinders but on the way home I only made it 2 miles at 10 MPH. I only had a hour to wrench on it this AM. I still need to do some more diagnosing but that chain didn't feel right. The jets on #2 carb are clear, diaphragm is good, floats are good, slide isn't sticking. Also the oil pressure light came on at idle about a week ago, the level was good. The engine hasn't been run for about 6 years so I changed it when I first got the bike and put about 2,000 miles when the light started coming on. I figured there was just a bunch of gunk in the engine from sitting clogged the filter so I changed it (oil and filter) again but the light would still come on at idle sometimes. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
