Replacement Clutches

I have used EBC CK clutches on XJ's in the past. I put one in my '97 and also one in my faired '92. But I've also sold both those bikes and don't know how well they hold up. I use synthetic oils in my XJ and have read, on occasion, that the CK (cork) series clutches do not do well with synthetic oils over the long-haul.
What are you all using for replacement (non OE) clutches and how have they held up? Are you using them with conventional or synthetic oil?
And what are your thoughts on the heavy duty clutch springs?
