Thoughts on Michelin Commander II tire\suggestions

Hi there, I just picked up a '93 Seca II.
The rear tires on it seem a bit worn out, so I'm looking to upgrade them. I live in Seattle, so wet grip is very, very crucial for me.
It's been kind of difficult to find modern tires to fit our 18" rear wheels, but I did manage to find these Michelin Commander II tires in 150/70/18:

My questions are as follow:
1) Thoughts on this tire for the rain?
2) Thoughts for dry grip?
3) Is the profile (70 series) too high? Will that lift up my rear too much in relation to front? According to the tire guide it does fit
