Hi all,

Just picked up a '94 XJ as a winter project. Bike rides great and runs OK, (needs valves shimmed). I have been lurking here for a few weeks, using the sights vast knowledge base, like today I was able to quickly find out why my neutral LED light seemed to be working backwards. Thought it was something like that, but within seconds i was able to confirm. Probably end up doing a relay as there is only one ground for the 3 indicator lights on this cheep KPH spedo I picked up. Other than that, the bike looks like it was road hard and put away wet. Certainly hasn't seen much love the last few years. The spray bomb paint job and so called body work would even make Earl Scheib shake his head in disbelief. So a strip down and decent paint is on the list of things to do this winter. It's a naked machine with a Buell X1 headlight/fly screen on it that has seen better days and would like to replace it with something different. I'll have some questions about that for the forum, along with some other stuff that would be better to find out about first before I make the commitment to try. ;)

Looking forward to getting to know everybody better,

Mark
