Total noob, first bike?

Hey guys, I'm a completely new rider and was looking to pick up my first bike here soon. Saw a Seca 2 in my price range and thought about picking it up, but I have no idea if its a good beginning bike, let alone on how to check a used bike for the matter.

I've read the used motorcycle buying guide and hoping I dont get googley eyes and pick it up right away, also hoping I can fit on it.
