Cylinder head bolt not budging

So, I have this bolt (12mm) that is not budging. It needs a deep 12mm socket because of the rounded top. I gave it a good whack with a hammer and then sprayed it (and others) with WD-40 to help loosen it up. I'm going to give it another try tonight. I also bought a 12mm deep socket off ebay so that should be here soon. I don't want to strip the bolt but it is on there good and tight. Anything else you'd suggest?
