No power around 5000rpm and up

I have a 94 xj 600. I replace the seals and orings in all 4 carbs with the set from litetex. The bike runs great till I get on it. At about 5k it chugs and had no power. If I run WOT it grumbles and backfires into the air box. The plus are clean and grey white all the same.
Before I replaced the carb seal it would run great WOT. But#1 wouldn't fire at idiol due to a plugged up pilot jet. Hence the carb teardown. The carb to intake boots are new. The pilots are 20's.
What should I check next I'm spinning my wheels? :huh:
