Cleaning salt

So I had to ride the other day and the roads were still wet. When I got home, there was salt everywhere on the bike. I cleaned as much off as I could, but its hard to get everywhere clean. My question is how does everyone get into the nooks and cranny's to clean salt or other dirt/grime?
