chain and sprocket check

My master link has failed. (see picture)

The chain doesn't appear to me as very worn. unless I find something else that needs replacing like one of the sprockets or the rest of the chain is in bad shape I'm inclined just to replace the master link. Do these pictures look like either of the sprockets need replacing? I also included reference pictures to show the tension of the chain when this happened.

And here is pulling on the rear sprocket to show how loose the chain is around the rear sprocket
If either of the sprockets or the chain needs replacing. I'll try and DIY the sprockets and chain. I am also thinking I'll purchase a replacement rear shock from a v star 650 as the other posts on here indicate its the best option for replacing the rear shock. It's just killing me not being able to ride in this summer weather!
In summary: Does it look like I should replace more than the master link?
