Need help fitting a '95 fairing to a '93

I knew the fairing stays were different, but the '95 and '92 fairings look very similar, so I was hoping to be able to fit the newer fairing with some creative workarounds.
Well no, they look similar shapes, but are totally different sizes - looks like I'll have to get the later fairing bracket too.
So has anyone done this? Will a '95 fairing bracket fit a 92 frame?
Looks like the headlight, clocks etc should all swap over? Any help appreciated!
