Oil leak chain tensioner

Hi all,
I think I might have a leak coming from the chain tensioner, it appears that's where the run is coming from anyway. I happen to have a new gasket and was wondering if I take out the chain tensioner and replace the gasket will this mess the timing up? I'm assuming it wouldn't but wanted to check first.
Also I've put clubman bars on the bike which I love however as the handlebars now point downwards the brake master cyclinder is on a slant which means the brake fluid isn't being sucked ! Can anyone recommend a specific replacement master cyclinder which can be angled? Or if any one else has had this issue before what was your workaround?!
