A couple of possible issues.

So I just got finished putting new tires on, cleaning the sprockets and putting a new chain one and I found this while putting the chain on.
Not sure how big of an issue this is or not but I thought I would post it and check with you guys. It may be hard to see but someone has over tightened the screws and cracked the plastic around each one.
The other thing I have come to ask about is that my engine makes a slight ticking noise sounds like it is coming from the top end. Nothing super loud or crazy but just loud enough that I do not believe that it should be running like this. Any idea of what could be causing this issue? Do I need to adjust the valves? I am not sure and help is much appreciated. thanks guys.
