Hi hi! Purchased my bike a few months ago and I experienced major issues with it when it arrived at my house. Well a few days after getting the bike I took it apart to do the paint job, it was botched real bad, apparently the guy that had it didn't know how to use paint. So I cleaned it up, I removed the gas tank, and took airbox off. Etc., I should've mentioned this bike drove from Indianapolis to the northern tip of Indiana, no issues were noticed. So then I put the parts back on left it in the drive way. Woke up and oil all over my driveway. I noticed it came from the galley plug, so I replaced the galley plug. So replaced with new oils, new filter, new spark plugs, and took it for a ride, then it started smoking up like no tomorrow! Oil seemed to spew out from either the valve cover gasket, or the air box. The air box did seem to get soaked with oil, it was probably a carburetor issue? I checked of the carbs, the needles seemed to be going in fine, there was not varnish. So airbox is leaking onto the headers I believe, but I also bought a new gasket cover because the seal seemed shitty. I'm just buying new parts I don't know what's wrong
((. I'm new to bikes, all this info I found out through extensive research on my part, I like to figure it out on my own, but now I'm really in need of a mechanically inclined person/persons. How do I know if there's a crack in the crank case? It seems fine, but I'm a goof. What should I do about the leak, I assume it's the airbox, it's a lot of oil fellas, not just a little. What am I doin wrong? Please help me ride this glorious bike again!
