Alternative to OEM Clamp for Carb Boot?

The carburetor joint, also referred to as the carb boot has 2 clamps per boot, which totals to 8 clamps in total. If you look at the price for each of the clamps on this site, the cost for just the clamps alone is just under $50 bucks. Extortion!!
Has anyone used non OEM clamps as an alternative to the expensive OEM ones? Hardware shop, Ebay?
