Casper plays in the Sandias and Pecos

I started my day off well and decided to take a long cruise after lunch.
Off to my favorite dirt road, followed with my favorite paved road.

Kept getting stuck behind cars and decide to stop and take pictures instead of passing. (The nice guy in this picture pulled over to let me pass earlier.)

I then headed north and saw 344, I have never taken 344...

so I took 344 for a bit in an attempt to see whether or not it would be good addition to a group ride route.
Turned around after a few miles and stopped a few miles short of Golden on NM 14.

Rode through Santa Fe and started up the path for the Santa Fe Ski Area.

It started to rain a little and I wasn't prepared to go through rain. (No front fender, only 1 layer of gear, summer dirt gloves, non-water resistant shoes...)
So I turned around and went up to Teseque.

Stopped at the Teseque Market...

and had a delicious steak sandwich.

Headed south 14 again, attempting to stay dry.

I chose poorly...

this was my other possible route.

Nice and sunny...
Made it home wet and cold, but safe and happy.
