I think I'm going to cry.

I mentioned a couple of weeks back about my 1994 xj600s supposedly going in to get new tyres...
It decided to piss fuel out the day I was taking it in and we slapped it straight on the trailer and off to the mechanic who has just managed to get it looked at with some really horrific news (hence the I was to cry title)
There are so many weird and wonderful things wrong with this now that to be fixed, will cost me £370 with labour.
I realise that not getting it fixed will be daft as I still have those tyres paid for and ready to fit as well.
So I am asking for some honest opinions - once fixed and with new tyres should I sell it? (preferably to someone who will actually know what they are doing regarding looking after it)
Then buy myself something a bit newer that I cant break!
Your thoughts?
Thanks,
Heidi
