problems with my XJ600n

I need Help with my Wreg XJ600N. I don't think that fuel is getting to one of the carburettors or the carb isn't doing its job
I hope someone can help
I started to get a few judders as if it had fuel loss or miss firing
then one day it took me ages to get home as every time I accelerated it would try to cut out.
I replaced the plugs, then cleaned the carbs, still doing the same so I replaced the coils (used
and the fuel filter.
it was when Decided to remove a lead at a time that I noticed that No1 cylinder wasn't firing but was sparking really well, I had a feel of the down pipe and No1 was cool and the other was piping hot, I don't Know why I didn't do this at first
