Strange slimey fluid in clutch

While fixing the clutch rattle problem, found some strange slimey fluid inside the clutch housing, pic related


So there is some creamy slimey fluid in there, right around clutch pull rod.
And there is a hint of gasoline smell in oil, so guys, what is that? I have never dealt with any motorcycles or motors of any kind before, so everything new to me and i don't now what is what, and what to do.
And i found out that clutch cover and crankcase gaskets are missing and replaced by some kind of sealant. What sealant is appropriate to seal the clutch cover?
