SOLVED (kinda of) replacement for acorn screw in carbuerator

So i did some machining to match the acorn screw. It is M5 metric brass screw about 6 mil (from the cap of the screw), i bought M5 metric brass screw from hardware store, its cap 1 mil smaller than original one, but i have made the "screw" part equal, as pictured on my very detailed and precise plan, which depicts their exact sizes and cavity sizes also.
So simple question, will it be enough? Will it work?

PS: I am worried about screw thickness and hardness, maybe i can fabricate it from some stronger material like Stainless steel, or drill a smaller diameter hole in it?

So i placed the screw, tightened it a little bit, and it works just fine. The needle itsels steps out of the cap for 1 millimeter, so you need to drill only to the end of thread (stop drilling right underneath the replacement screw cap). Pic related
