Leaking carb bowl

Hello hello,

Recently picked up a '92 Seca II and found that all four of the carb bowls leaked when the bike was running.

Upon removal of the bowls I could tell the gaskets were shot - they were brittle and very cracked up. My thoughts were to replace the bowl gaskets (o-rings) and see where that got me. I also checked to see (visually) if the floats looked to be at uniform height all the way across the four carbs. They appeared to be at the same height.

This cleared up the problem almost completely. Three carbs are now completely dry and stay dry during operation. However the carb closest to the choke still drips fuel out of the lower-left corner while the bike is running. I removed the bowl again and tried to re-seal using the o-ring and a small amount of ultra black, but to no avail. It is still pushing fuel past the bowl.

I removed the bowl again and replaced the needle with one of the ones that came with my Po Boys gasket set, checked the float for free movement, and put it back together.

I don't see any large imperfections in either the bowl or the mating surface on the carb. I also don't see any cracks in the bowl itself. But it still drips out of the lower left-hand corner while the bike is running.

Any ideas?
