Hello from NJ - Just bought my bike today

Hello to everybody.
I just wanted to stop in and introduce myself.
I have been riding bikes and quads since I was 5yo but haven't owned a street legal bike until today (i'm 30 now). With the slightly warmer weather we have been having I got my dirtbike back out and have been tooling around lately. Getting back into riding again made me happy and I have been entertaining the idea of getting a dual sport/enduro and just started looking at listings on websites and classifieds. Long story short I found this Seca at a local dealer and went to check it out today.
It's not the cleanest XJ600 I'm sure but it seems good enough for my first road bike. It's a 1993 with 18,000 miles, been repainted recently, paint looks okay but they sealed a goofy decal under the clear coat on the tank and looks like the windshield was tinted or just painted. But overall it seems to be intact and mechanically sound, started right up numerous times so it seems like the starter gear is fine, motor runs smoothly without leaking, exhaust tone sounds nice with a Yoshimura pipe(not sure if headers are coated OEM or Yoshi). I got it for $1500 with free delivery and a free helmet - not the best deal but not a bad deal either I think.
My plans for it are to use it for my license test and to get familiar with road riding. I would like to do the naked conversion for the front end and maybe get some racks and bags for some trips. I don't know if this will be my cross country trip bike in a few years but it's heading in the right direction.
Okay, onto the pics, sadly the only ones I have with me at work are the ones from the website of my dealer. I will get lots of new pics when I get the bike home tomorrow.
What do you guys think?
Have a great day!
Brandon
