Hi guys. Ok so since I am a little strapped on cash at the moment and have to wait a little bit in order to get the bike tuned I figured that I could start on cleaning the engine. I have started by using a rust dissolver gel that I apply onto a tooth brush to scrub the engine. It doesn't seem to do the trick. My question to you guys is: What kind of product and techniques do you use to clean an engine, engine fins? Also there is this one spot on a plate that has a scuff on it. what exactly does it cover? Will fluids spill out if I remove it to sand the scuff out and repaint? Keep in mind guys I have absolutely no mechanical background so I am learning as I go forward. Oh and trust me I have searched the web for answers and haven't really found a good answer. It would be awesome if Radare could come up with an in depth tutorial with lots of pictures as to how he cleans his engines. Oh yea and the engine is going to stay on the frame for the time being. I am way to inexperienced to start pulling that out. Thanks for the help
