All,
As you know I have the sidecar laden XJ600. I picked the bike up, it ran. Did exactly 1/10th of a mile on it. It ran, shifted and the lights worked. Perfect for my use.
I ordered tires for the beast, while apart I lubed the steering head bearings, flushed the filth from the forks and put in some Spectro 10W fork oil. I put the rims back on, popped the hack off (takes me 30 mins to pop it off).
WTFO? I am PISSED NOW. No one told me how much FUN this bike is as a 2 wheeler!
I ran errands, pretty much kept it at 12 bagillion RPM, laid it darn near parallel on every corner and was a hooligan of the worst sort.
I really, truly, honestly, forgot how much fun mid-CC lightweight bikes were.
