Clutch cable length

I replaced my clutch cable a while back with the motion pro replacement, and it is so long that I have to have the adjusters at both ends of the sheath at their maximum to get the lever in range. Anyone else have this problem? Any other brand cables you've used that were the right length? I'mm pretty annoyed by it , and if the cable stretches, I am going to be SOL.
