Bottom of Gas Tank

So I put the new petcock on that 1Oldman referred me to and installed the gas line, but there is a nipple that comes from the bottom of the gas tank on my 92 xj600 and I'm not sure what hooks up to that. Is it just a breather thing? I can't find a hose that would connect to it. Please help me. :shrug:
