rear master cylinder

My rear brake just went all of a sudden on a ride out, I bled it when I come back home thinking it was shorted and lasted till I got down my street, so I split caliper to see what was going on, all was fine and just cleaned it all up and popped pistons back in, I bled it again and same thing happened.
I was confused and then some one on a fbook page said its master cylinder, seal have gone in it. I bought a second hand one and even now as im typing its still not arrived, I had a brain waved, misses zx6r f3 had a spare one in shed and I thought id risk fitting it.
It all bolts on and already feels a tad better from old one, thinking braided line next and thundercat rear caliper, should be a good set up tbh?
Here is a picture, its just sits on the other side behind the rearset/exhaust hanger
Not sure if this has been done before or anyone knows about it, so though id post a topic
