the previous owner of my 1993 xj broke the windshield in half by hitting a bat.. so i decided to try something different instead of buying a new 130 windshield from yamaha. i got a bug tupperware box from my mother and fabricated a windshield. (sorry in advance for the lack of pictures... i was in the zone and didnt have pictures in mind..)

i took my old windshield and marked the outline of it on the bottom of the box
cut it out with a damn hacksaw blade cus im poor.
test fitted it and found a good line for the top
traced a trashcan lid for the top
test fitted again
heated it up a little with the hairdryer and formed it a little better
test fitted
sanded edges smooth
painted the inside with some old lens tint i had laying around
put it all together

pretty dang good for a white guy in his garage just finding crap and making it work.
also took it for a SHORT test ride tonight and it actually works better considering it is so short
