stock tach not working.

alrighty lets see if you guys ate your smarties this morning! i have a stock tach and speedo on my 1993 with 7k miles. my speedo works fine and all the dummy lights work fine but my tachometer doesnt work and hasnt since i got the bike (its just now starting to annoy me). i was wondering if you guys have some ideas on how to fix it or places that can fix it. ive checked all the connections and they seem good none of the wires are chewed up so im guessing its inside the unit. thanks alot fellas!
