wheel options

My wheels are pretty beat up with a fair few scratches some pretty deep. Im thinking about replacing them before paint and I was wondering if any wheels from other bikes could be used? I was thing maybe an fzr? For the right price, I don't mind changing brakes but id like to keep three as I have some almost new battle axes on at the moment. If I makes a difference, its a 2000 xj
