high idle

so i was riding to work and ran out of gas. once i finally got gas in it the bike seemed to be running fine but once it warmed up the idle is up high so i dropped the main idle screw and it dropped down a little bit but still seems to be high. where should i start with this. im getting the bike ready for spring so i can start riding. and want to start working on it. since its slowly getting warmer out.
