Suggestions on Restoration

Hey all, I've been here for awhile, but I've never really posted pictures of my bike. Well, now I am looking for some suggestions. I want to make it look a little better. Simple and cheap modifications would be idle. Paint will be the first step. My friend and I did a little painting over the summer, but I don't like the flat black too much. Not a good seal. I like the Gold that Radare did on his 97, but I'm not sure that would work so well with mine. My frame is powdercoated black, so I would prefer to not touch that.
Any suggestions on paint? If anyone is good with photoshop and bored, feel free too have some fun... haha.
Also, any other suggestions to clean it up (on the cheap)? I plan on getting different mufflers, maybe stock. Repaint the headers. Engine degreaser and repaint a few components. Any suggestions for a flyscreen? I have an SV650 headlamp.
