Water in fuel ..... Again!

Well as you yanks where just going to bed after emptying a bottle of whiskey and coke I was filling a bottle of whiskey and coke.

Not a good start to 2013
So now I'm going to be looking into the price of brand new filler caps.
Just what I needed after getting her up and running again from the electrical issue.
It was a matter of emptying 1/4 of a litre into the bottle at a time then emptying it into the big bottle until I ended up with 1/4 litre with no water in it, then 1/2 litre with no water in it.
Then emptied the float bowls, primed the carbs then she started sluggishly and slowly got better over 2 or 3 mins.
At least I got her running again now after loosing 6 litres of fuel.
Then took her round the block.
