Porting

Has anyone done any porting on this bike? I saw someone in my area selling one, he claims is fast, he ported it and has it jetted. I haven't looked at the head casting to see what all could be done. I'm tempted to pull my head and put it on a bench this winter and either gasket match or do a little porting. Maybe even have a little shaved off to bump compression. Could even go up in compression to make an e85 bike... But I think I would run into valve/piston clearance issues then and I don't want to remove the pistons to get reliefs cut. What do you guys think? Other than a drill or something similar, there isn't much required as far as tools. Aluminum heads, so fairly easy to cut. A valve spring compressor can be borrowed from Vatozone. How much is a head gasket and valve cover gasket (mine is leaking anyway)? Those would be the only real expenses.

This is the ad I saw. He claims 55-60 miles from the 3.5 gallon tank... Maybe he means mpg?
EDIT: I emailed him. He doesn't know anything about the port job, it was a previous owner. He just says he knows it is fast... haha. And 55-60 was the MPG.

Also, I've read about people with SV650s and GSXRs getting a second intake cam and using it as an exhaust cam to get a little more lift. Since aftermarket cams aren't available for this engine, is this a viable option to get a little better exhaust performance?
