I have a black helmet that fits and performs wonderfully, but I wish it was white. I have checked with the manufacturer, and they state commercially available car paints may be used, as long as they are not nitrocellulose-based, which may soften the helmet shell. Furthermore, they recommend water- as opposed to solvent-based paints. Any experience, and/or advice? Please forgive me if I have failed to find this topic addressed elsewhere on the forum.
