Reason for going naked

Well I started my three day weekend and instead of riding I pulled the Fairing off to repair some cracks from the previous owner. I took the bike in all its nakeness to Walmart for some paint and sandpaper. And well...frankly I loved it. It seemed not so bulky and alot more nimlbe of a bike with out the fairing. All that might be the newness of the nakedness, But i also noticed alot less wind buffeting my helmet around. Is that possible? RADARE you might be the best to answer this because you have both types. But I suppose until I make my decision I will run naked. I did find a burnt wire under the fairing so its good I removed the fairing...now just to find where the wire goes to and why its toasted :what:
