Hi guys. If anybody read my last post it was about my shifting problem. The answer was to replace the clutch cable. Cable came today and was replaced. Took the bike for a ride and shifting problem still existed. Heres the issue...

After riding for about 20 mins when I pull in the clutch lever it wont do anything pull the clutch out very much at all. Its actually easier for me to shift without even using the clutch and instead just pushing on the shifter whether it be down or up, I usually have to give it some gas. While in first gear I will pull the lever in all the way and still move forward unless I put the brake on. If the brake is on the bike bogs down and dies (that makes sense.) So somewhere my clutch is not pulling away from the engine for whatever reason. Any suggestions at all? Once the bike cools off I am going to crack open the bottom case and see what's going on in there.

Heres some pics.
Just the right side of the bike. Yes, I do know my oil cap is off. I took it off right before the pic. Normally it is on. Does my clutch cable look as if it is in an odd place or the wrong place?

The not dirty cable is my new clutch. It's in the same place as the old one. Perhaps I have it in the wrong place and it is heating up and stretching? That would cause me not to be able to pull in the clutch but I have a problem believing the cable is stretching that much.

Not sure if this picture does much but the more the merrier. I'm not the expert here...

Heres a picture of the shifter pedal. Below it you can see black grime that I believe is just built up gunk from the chain.

Lastly, we have this odd hose I found on the left side of the bike right above the engine. It leads from the airbox down to the bottom case. Obviously it is not connected. I'm thinking I should do that, but what does this tube do? Allow air flow to the transmission case to cool it down? Also, is the flap of rubber on top of my carbs supposed to be there? It seems like it doesn't belong there. Again, I am not the expert..

Thanks anybody who reads or adds information to my aid. I really do appreciate it. You guys have been great to me so far. :kudos:
