Pulled Carbs **Now No Start**

I just got my Seca a couple weeks ago and start ups have sucked, 3-5min warm ups. I got the carbs off tonight and have a few issues and questions. Boots to intake manifolds seem very hard and most have cracking, replace all 4 or make them work? they dont seem to be so badly cracked that unfiltered air is getting in. Fuel valve when left in the ON position still has fuel leaking out non stop(its a very slight leak compared to the PRIME position. Do I need to replace the valve? Is there a possible easier fix?

I measured the header temps after going for a ride the other day with a IR thermometer and all the temps were high 200 to mid 300's which I thought was really odd with the long start ups assuming it was because the bike is cold blooded. Well I inspected the carbs and the plugs were already gone and I turned in the screws all the way and every one of them had to be 6+ turns out, now everything makes a little more sense. Bike was probably getting flooded with broken fuel valve and getting way too much fuel once it was running. Ill pull the spark plugs tomorrow when its light again and check those as well.

Anything Im missing or I should know? Also the screw locking the throttle cable was completely stripped and I was successful with my first easy-out ever, although it did take a while.

I got everything back together and put it back on the bike. Now it wont start. Its in the PRIME position with choke out, fuel is getting to the pump. Start turns but it doesnt even want to begin to start. Here are some pictures, I have 3 vacuum lines that I have no idea where they go, they dont really reach anything. All 3 go into a black cylinder, what is this cylinder? Also is my fuel line and filter ok? it seems really long.

What is suppose to hook up the the things circled, if anything?

Thats my fuel filter and hook up, again fuel is getting to the pump.

I have this vacuum line on the left side that runs from this canister, no idea where it goes.

These are the lines on the right side coming from the canister, theres one line the short one looks like it would hook up to right above it but its short and cannot reach it.

This is a final picture where the 2 lines go into the canister.
