Youtube videos - bike starts when warm but not when cold

Hi guys - need your help/expertise 
Posted two clips on YouTube - duration 27 sec. and 1 min 27 sec.

1: shows the bike starting when warm after a ride - no issues.
2: shows the bike starting when cold (left for the night) - issues
When bike is cold it starts for a few seconds then dies. Any suggestions. If I leave the bike alone for a while the bike will start up again but same result - It will shut off after a few seconds.
Do you think the problem may be that i have not yet had the carburetor synced after cleaning. - an incorrect adjustment of air/gas mixture (did not touch the screws) . Any other suggestions ?
The bike will idle at about 1400 when warm.
I am not using the choke when starting - seems just to flood the system.
Fuel lever at ON not PRIME when starting.
Using "super" not regular gas
Starter fluid helps getting the bike running but that is of course not a solution
New spark pluges
