For those looking for engine guards, other NOS parts

So i was on the lookout for the discontinued engine guards for the seca for a while. I wasn't a huge fan of the aftermarket ones (plus the 200$ price tag). Anyways I asked at my local Yamaha dealer if they by chance had any old parts for the xj. As I thought they didn't, but they told me to call up this place called Speed and Sport Yamaha out in Bloomsburg PA. I checked out the website first, At first glance it didnt really look too promising but I gave them a call found out a little more about them turns out they are probably the biggest NOS yamaha dealers in the world. Low and behold they had more than 5 sets of engine guards in stock.
While on the phone I asked them about the lower chin (belly) fairing. They said they currently didnt have any showing up on the computer, but they have sold some before. They did have the factory OEM mounting kit for the belly pan if anyone was interested in snagging it up.
As for the guards they were bit pricey, they said they would call me back with a final quote later in the day. They listed them at 119$ for the set. I got a call back (Andrew) a couple hours later and said he had one set that had a slight chip around the mounting spot and he could lower it down to 100$, and the others were fine. I went ahead and got the 100$ set because I would probably end up painting them later on. I placed the order Wednesday 5/16 and got them Saturday 5/19. They are pretty much perfect and you can't even notice the slight chip.
I would fullly recommend this place, as I have been scouring ebay forever and had no luck. Someone might even be able to pick up parts for other bikes.
