accessorizing...grips?

Enjoying my commute these days with the XJ - and starting to accessorize and thinking about doing some trips. Got my tank bag and saddlebags (went with the motocentrics - seem nice) and now thinking about grips. I searched the threads here and like the looks of the progrip 699's but not sure about sizes - are both right and left sides the same on our XJs? Both 7/8's? I know some bikes have larger throttle sides...(mine's an '98)
