Speedo not working but odometer is

Hi all, new to the forum.
As above, seen a few threads where speedo works but odometer, but mine is the opposite.

A few people talk about removing wheel and cleaning speedo drive, but surely, if my speedo is not working, but odometer is, it cannot be wheel related.
About to order a speedo, unless someone can hopefully persuade me otherwise
