xj pissing gas

Hello group!
So i bought this beauty lately... Unfortunately, 3 weeks later it started leaking gas a lot in all petcock positions. I am wondering how bad it can be. Dear XJ wizards, would you tell me what to attack first?
Is it leaky petcock, stuck carbs? The oil smells a bit rank and it should be just changed so i expect a leak to oil there too. Never worked on 4 cylinder bike. Any inputs super welcome thank you!
I wonder if there are any of you in Rotterdam area.
